Hey there,

lucky you discovering my website before anything really is up^^
I'll be using this site as a dump for thoughts, resources, and tutorials I keep in my Obsidian vault.

A little about myself, Hi I'm Fabian, and currently 25 years old, studied interactive Media, worked at Graswald3d and right now I mostly help with Clinton Jones's CreateWithClint 3D community. Being interested in mostly the intersection between art and computer-science naturally had brought me to Houdini where I spent most of my time, but I also spent a lot of time coding/programming, and making music (I play the Guitar since I'm four). For me tools are always a means to an end and art and science can't be separated.
From 2019, when I started to study, to now has been a wild ride, that brought me together with the most incredible talent from around the world and working with some of the greatest and biggest companies in the world! Not only through employment but also personal development I was able to play pivotal roles in realizing many visual and technical projects, many of which you might have seen!

Working with various software and data formats can be difficult especially the more cooks are in the kitchen! Therefore I want to revive and upkeep a small manifesto for "the way" of organization brought fourth by years of experience, not mine, but people's who actually know what they are talking about and I'll try my best to explain how you can apply those learning to your own endeavors.

I'm not gonna post bullshit, even though my thoughts might drift into the metaphysics, I try to keep things grounded, testable, humble and adopt a "wearing all glasses" approach, to form an opinion by looking at a thing from as many points of view as you can, which often leads to new insights on the topic you learning about.

I'm also German, so that might be indicative of some of the rigor a specificity I drive for. without devolving into perfectionism. I also try my best to keep posts in English, since I am a big advocate for just agreeing on one convention to communicate ideas with the public.
